This weekend, Jayah Paley, came to Minneapolis Midwest Mountaineering to offer 3 workshops during their Spring Expo. Myself and 2 other trainers attended her first workshop offering and found that about 30+ people were in attendance. Many of them had mobility issues due to MS. Jayah taught them about pole use and even got them out in the hallway to try out the poles for themselves. It was very emotionally riveting to witness those with

mobility issues navigate the hallways. Many of them trying the poles, really liked them and feel like they will gain more freedom by using them as a tool to get around. Jayah is from California and is very passioniate about hiking with poles and helping those that have mobility issues.
