Please check with the particular event by emailing the race director to ask if Nordic Walking poles are permissible. Many times they will allow them, but every event has their rules. If the event you are looking at features a run, you may have to look deeper to see if they offer a walk as well. Realize that some walks are fundraisers and any amount you raise is appreciated. Dollar amounts at time of online registration are suggestions, not mandatory to participate. Some events have registration fees, the sooner you sign up the better, because fees go up the closer to the date and more the day of the event.
